I’m Johan Van den Brande, the person behind Tektonica. With more than 25 years in software development and a background in electronics, I work across applications, devices and the connections between them.
I can design and build a specific system, work alongside your engineering team, or help untangle an existing architecture when the way forward isn’t obvious. You work directly with me, from the first conversation to the code.

My background includes roles as Principal Engineer at Autodesk, Software Architect at INTIX and Senior Software Engineer at EMC, alongside earlier work at PwC Consulting and IBM. I founded Tektonica in 2009.
